EMT-Basic Classes

We offer the following EMT Basic classes:

 

Fall EMT-Basic Class

Faculty

Ken Hult, NREMT-P & UNH EMS Instructor

When

September 3rd, 2008 to December 10, 2008
Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30pm to 10pm
Two full weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (actual dates to be announced prior to the beginning of class)
Students who register for the EMT-Basic course and the Professional CPR Certification will also meet on
Thursday, September 4th, 2008 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm for that portion of the course.
Note:Students will also be required to schedule 10 hours of clinical time with McGregor Memorial EMS or another EMS service.

The University of New Hampshire campus in Durham, NH. Building and room will be announced prior to the beginning of class.

Tuition

$675 EMT Basic (without CPR)
Note: Books, testing and certification fees are NOT included.
You must have a professional CPR certification to complete the course. You can obtain this yourself, or take our course.

NH Transition Modules: All of our EMT Basic classes include the required NH Transition Modules.

Winter/Spring EMT-Basic Class

Prerequisites: CPR Certification

An AHA CPR course will be available during the EMT Basic class for an additional cost.
Note: Must be AHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
