Class Materials

EMT Basic

There are two required texts for the EMT-Basic course. They are Prehospital Emergency Care (8^th Edition) by Joseph Mistovich and the accompanying workbook both published by Brady/Prentice Hall.

EMT Intermediate

There are two required texts for the EMT Intermediate course. The first is Intermediate Emergency Care: Intermediate Emergency Care (2^nd Edition) by Cherry and Porter Bledsoe and published by Prentice Hall. The first four chapters of this book should be read before the first class.

The second text is Basic Arrhythmias (6^th Edition) by Gail Walraven.
